| Goals: |
The purpose of
these classes is to help the dog and
handler begin to run full courses as a team. More
advanced handling, including reverse flow pivots,
serpentines, wraps, and threadles will be taught.
Distance & Obstacle
Proficiency exercises will be included. Games classes like
Snooker, Touch & Go, Pairs, and Gamblers may also be
covered. Coaching will focus on handler body position and
cues needed for standard courses.
This class can and should be repeated as needed
until dog reaches class goals. ROTATING CLASS OUTLINE
-- A DIFFERENT SET OF EXERCISES WILL BE USED EACH SESSION.
This class is held outdoors in our fully-fenced and lighted
regulation-sized arena. Note: This is a
workshop style course, so dogs will be crated or tethered
while handlers learn theory or walk the course. Please
bring your own crate if you prefer. Tethers and a limited
number of x-pens are available. |
