Agility Distraction Proofing Class

 Focus Work & Proofing

 
Goals: For dogs who already have taken the Obstacle Proficiency Agility class or its equivalent and have completed the Obstacle Proficiency  class goals.  Class objectives include a customized plan to proof dog to common distractions.  This class can and should be repeated as needed until dog reaches class goals.  This class is held outdoors in our fully-fenced and lighted regulation-sized arena.    This class is held outdoors in our fully-fenced and lighted regulation-sized arena.    Note:  This is a workshop style course, so dogs will be crated or tethered while handlers learn theory or walk the course.   Please bring your own crate if you prefer. Tethers and a limited number of x-pens are available.
Pre-Reqs:
  • Dogs MUST have taken Obstacle Proficiency Agility or its equivalent.
  • Dogs must not have aggression issues with well-mannered dogs.  
  • Dogs should be at least 1 year old,  of a healthy weight, and without health problems.
  • Pre-registration with pre-payment is required.

Duration: Once a week for 4 weeks
