TYPICAL CLASS PROGRESSION:  Puppies 12 weeks to 6 months of age start with a Puppy Class.  After that, many puppies enjoy the Puppy Agility and Confidence Class.  After your dog over 6 months of age you can take our Canine Good Citizen Class. Next, to really proof the basic skills, handlers love our Distraction Proofing Class.  After your dog has passed the Canine Good Citizen test you can enroll him in agility classes, tracking classes, flyball classes, or the Therapy Dog class. Please see our package deals to help save you money on your puppy's education.

Studies show that early socialization & training are very beneficial to young puppies.

Class Description
Puppy Class

Our 7 week interactive puppy class focuses on socialization to people and other dogs with an introduction to obedience commands such as sit, down, stay, come & leave it.   Your puppy will play with other puppies every week in addition to playing with people.   Puppies are exposed to many new sights and sounds in a positive way.  Many other puppy topics are covered during class such as puppy play biting, crate training, housetraining, walking nicely on a leash, learning not to guard their food or bones, learning how to be alone without being upset, & learning to love to be petted and handled by everyone.

Class Details
Tuition:

Puppy Class: $125.00 for a seven-week class; first week is orientation without the puppies. 
Includes a training kit and helpful information for the new dog owner.

Requirements: All dogs must have Rabies and DHPP vaccinations by first class with dogs.
Proof of vaccinations or titers must be faxed to 855-0422 or brought to first class. 
Pre-registration and pre-payment required. 

Do you have a "behaviorally healthy" dog?

To be eligible for this class your dog must not have issues being petted by anyone and must not lunge at other dogs. Please see which class diagram.
Age: Puppy Class:  Dogs must be fully vaccinated and be between 14 weeks and  6 months of age at the beginning of the class.
